Housekeeping and Home Management

A comprehensive programme recommended for any housekeeper covering communication in the home, telephone techniques, safety and security, home cleaning, hygiene practices, product usage & wastage control, understanding and organising of household duties, time management and a comprehensive workplan, compilation of shopping list and table/tray settings.

Duration: 27,5 training hours

Practical training covering care and maintenance of washing machines, analysis of fabrics/garment care label instructions, effective sorting procedures, identification, removal of stains, selecting washing agents, softeners, suitable washing cycles / loading the machine, laundering of high-risk items (hand washing of delicates), practical ironing, folding / packing garments.
